The Indio Chamber of Commerce invites you to Come enjoy the 26th annual Southwest Arts Festival featuring 3 days of family-friendly live entertainment, food, and over 250 acclaimed artists from around the country. The event will be held January 27th-29th at the world-renowned Empire Polo Club in picturesque Indio California. Gates open 10AM-6PM. This year’s festival will feature nine artistic disciplines including, clay, drawing, glass, jewelry, metal, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, textile and other. Festival-goers can expect to enjoy many types of traditional, contemporary, and abstract works of art. The award winning S.C.R.A.P. Gallery, (The Art Museum for the Environment) will once again participate in this year’s festival. Children of all ages can indulge their creativity with art projects crafted from recyclable materials. There is no additional charge for visiting the S.C.R.A.P. Gallery which will be open throughout the Festival. Adult tickets are $8 daily or $12 for a 2 day pass. Children 16 and under are admitted at no cost. Valet and street parking are available.
The Festival’s reputation for first-class quality and professional integrity make it one of the finest throughout the country. As the Indio Chamber’s largest annual fundraiser, the chamber is exceptionally fortunate to have many community leaders and volunteers contributing numerous hours to make certain that the Festival is successful.
