Dr. Jochen is the highest volume injector of BOTOX® in the desert according to Allergan (makers of BOTOX®) and is recognized as a Platinum Plus Provider of both BOTOX®/Juvederm™ and Restylane®, signifying extensive experience with products used in a liquid face lift procedure. He participated in a clinical study for Juvederm™, one of the newest FDA approved dermal filler products.
Timothy Jochen, M.D. completed his internship at Loma Linda University Medical Center, Loma Linda, California and received his medical doctorate from SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn, Brooklyn, NY, where he received a Distinction in Research honor. He completed his residency in dermatology and dermatologic surgery at Tulane University Affiliated Hospitals, New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Jochen is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology.
In addition to serving as Medical Director for Contour Dermatology, Dr. Jochen is an Assistant Clinical Professor at University of Southern California, Los Angeles, Department of Dermatology, where he was named “Teacher of the Year – 2006.” He has lectured locally, nationally and internationally on various cosmetic and medical topics. Dr. Jochen has personally attended dozens of hours of continuing Medical Education courses around the country as well as encouraging his staff to do the same, demonstrating his commitment to stay abreast of the latest medical advancements in his field. He is actively involved in community service, volunteering his skills to battered women and supporting the American Cancer Society in fund raising events.
