"A Desert Oasis"

In 1823 Mexican Explorer Captain Jose Romero stumbled across and later named an ancestral home of a local Native American Cahuilla Tribe which had constructed and cultivated a thriving village around a hand-dug precious watering hole. For many years, Indian Wells was a famous gold prospector destination, stagecoach hub, and soon to be Date epicenter.

Today, this city known for relaxation and indulgence offers visitors and residents a multitude of outstanding world-class amenities.
